Production Manager (Food Manufacturing)
 
A growing food and beverage manufacturer in the Brookshire, Texas area is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead daily operations within a blending and packaging manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with production teams, improving processes, and ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
The Production Manager will oversee plant floor operations and supervise production staff while maintaining high standards for food safety, quality, and operational efficiency .
 

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee daily production operations including blending and packaging
  • Supervise production staff including operators and line workers
  • Execute production schedules to meet customer demand
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMP, and SOPs
  • Monitor production metrics such as throughput, efficiency, and downtime
  • Promote a strong safety culture and maintain OSHA compliance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean practices
  • Maintain accurate production and operational records
  • Collaborate with quality, warehouse, and supply chain teams to support production goals
 

Requirements
  • Spanish speaking required
  • Experience in food, beverage, or nutraceutical manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments
  • Minimum 3 years of production leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience managing production teams or line supervisors
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food manufacturing standards
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on plant environment

Preferred Experience
  • Blending, batching, or packaging operations
  • Food ingredient or beverage manufacturing
  • ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar
  • Lean manufacturing or process improvement experience

Work Environment
This position is located in a food-grade manufacturing facility and requires daily presence on the production floor. The environment may include exposure to tea, herbs, botanicals, and food ingredients. PPE is required and the role involves standing, walking, and active supervision of production teams.
