Our client is a growing contract manufacturer serving the food, beverage, and nutraceutical space and is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations. This role is critical to scaling production, developing strong teams, and driving a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is a floor-focused leader who combines operational discipline with data-driven decision-making and thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all day-to-day manufacturing operations, with emphasis on blending and packaging
  • Develop and manage production schedules aligned with demand, labor, and capacity
  • Build, train, and lead high-performing production teams
  • Champion safety, quality, and compliance (GMP, HACCP, SQF, OSHA)
  • Drive efficiency improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles and KPIs
  • Own plant performance metrics including throughput, yield, labor efficiency, and cost
  • Manage operating budgets, cost control, and resource utilization
  • Leverage ERP systems to improve visibility, planning, and execution
  • Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, R&D, and Supply Chain
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, equipment optimization, and process upgrades
Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish)
  • 10+ years of manufacturing experience with 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience in food, beverage, or nutraceutical manufacturing
  • Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or Six Sigma
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive performance through data
  • ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience scaling operations in a growing manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to automation, OEE improvement, or modernization projects
  • Strong coaching and people-development mindset
