Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Junior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role will support full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple operating entities while partnering closely with the corporate accounting team on financial reporting, compliance, and audit preparation.

Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Entity Accounting
  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple operating subsidiaries
  • Record daily transactions, reconcile bank accounts, and maintain general ledgers
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of A/P, A/R, payroll entries, and intercompany transactions
  • Prepare subsidiary-level financial statements and support roll-ups for consolidation
Corporate Accounting & Reporting
  • Post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist with consolidations of subsidiary financials into corporate results
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
Compliance & Controls
  • Ensure transactions comply with internal policies and accounting standards (US GAAP / IFRS)
  • Assist with external audit requests and compliance-related filings
  • Support internal control processes across entities
Financial Planning & Analysis Support
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Provide ad hoc analysis for management
  • Support accounting aspects of M&A and transaction-related activities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
  • 0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships or entry-level roles acceptable)
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP and/or IFRS)
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Sage, NetSuite, or similar
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Clear communicator able to collaborate across teams and entities
  • Self-starter with strong time management and follow-through
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
