Our client, a well-established and growing service-based company, is seeking a hands-on Operations / HR Coordinator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, QuickBooks-savvy, and enjoys wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

About the Role
This position blends operations, office administration, and HR coordination . You’ll play a key role in keeping day-to-day back-office functions running smoothly while helping improve and scale internal processes. You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-train across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Office Support
  • Cross-train with office leadership to support customer calls and scheduling/dispatch
  • Enter new jobs and updates into the CRM system
  • Assist with contract administration for commercial and non-commercial service projects
  • Support the development and documentation of technician training materials
Light Accounting Support (QuickBooks)
  • Partner with the bookkeeper to monitor A/P and A/R
  • Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks as needed
General Office / HR Support
  • Assist with onboarding and basic compliance activities
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, office administration, or a similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks , payroll systems, and standard office software
  • Experience with construction billing and progress invoicing preferred
  • Familiarity with HR processes including onboarding, compliance, and employee support
  • Exposure to prevailing wage and LCP Tracker reporting is a plus
  • Highly detail-oriented, dependable, and communicative
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable figuring things out independently
  • Ability to work on-site in an Orange County office environment
